Black Hammer was hired by a local Natural History Museum to provide a complete overhaul to almost thirty Fossil Hall touch-screen kiosks. The existing video, audio, animation and text content was decoupled, cropped, and re-illustrated. The cleaned up files were then integrated into the new application code.

Along with up-scaling hundreds of individual assets for two different kiosk formats, Timelines and Lifelines, Black Hammer created new attract loops and recreated the animations for each interactive. The entire original interfaces were reproduced and modernized in an XML-based Flash environment. This major structural change allows these interactives to be easily updated and adjusted for future developments, and makes them far more efficient and cross-platform friendly.
