Black Hammer developed the EMPainline.org website for Beth Israel Medical Center as a resource in pain and emergency medicine for physicians and healthcare practitioners.
EMPainline features a comprehensive bibliographic database of articles on pain in emergency medicine within a clean and straightforward user interface. The website also includes a custom search tool with boolean operators, and the capability to view the search results within a tree type hierarchy based on MESH keywords. Content Management is powered by the Java-based Black Hammer CMS.
Another feature of the project is a web-based import tool to import bibliographic records created in EndNote(R), a popular bibliographic database program, in XML format for inclusion in the EMPainline resource.
