Created for Nickelodeon on the heels of Candyland Dora the Explorer Edition, Diego's Safari Rescue takes pre-schoolers on an African safari mission that teaches them about various African animals and their habits.
The game ties together a series of mini-games and animated interstitial scenes with a substantial plotline based on a Go, Diego, Go! TV episode. An extensive narrative leads kids through activities such as shape recognition, musical exploration and seek and find.
As with the Dora title, Black Hammer once again handled all of the design, animation and development from start to finish. Both the Dora and Diego titles continue Black Hammer's long line of quality edutainment products, providing families a fun and innovative approach to learning.
Go,Diego, Go!: Safari Rescue, along with Dora the Explorer Candyland became the two top selling games on Nick Jr. within weeks of their release.
